Idk if the english major side of Tumblr is aware, but the Jane Austen’s House Museum (which is exactly what it sounds like) has a resident cat that keeps the property free of mice and she gets featured on their social media all the time.
Her name is Marmite and you’re not supposed to try and pet her bc she’s a grumpy little thing but I gave her scritches anyway. I love her.
